My name's Joaquín Ollo, I'm a tabletop rpg designer from Argentina. I'm also a programmer, which prevents me from starving to death.
My games are often about the cyclic nature of time, alienation, fate and defying it, urban life, and my personal take on queerness and transition to adulthood. That's a lot of themes for only 3 games published, isn't it?
I follow mostly the story-games tradition, and some of the games I'm influenced by are Burning Wheel, Mouse Guard, Apocalypse World, Monsterhearts, Blades in the Dark, Fiasco, etc. I've recently started to dabble in the OSR movement, or rather in Artpunk, mostly Electric Bastionland, and a bit of Stars without Numbers. So my design whereabouts lay somewhere between story-games and artpunk.
I also write often in my personal blog: short stories, thoughts abut roleplaying games, actual play reports, tables for games, etc.
